Eaton's Meadow

Eaton’s Meadow
16×12″ oil on linen panel

It was a lovely day in the San Gabriel foothills. Spring has sprung, flowers blooming everywhere, and yet there was a cold snap to the air this day. It was fun to watch the groups of school children being taught about their environment, walking single file along the well traveled paths. I did however get a reminder, each time that I stepped back to view my work, that I was just a few feet from a gorgeous poison oak bush.
