20×28″ watercolor on Arches

I love the warm colors of fall. Who knew how many colors of orange are in a pumpkin.
I was holding back on painting the gold silk, with it’s embroidery and folds. However, I just jumped in one edge and it has been flowing ever since.

I loved painting this watercolor with the variety of oranges, rusts, and golds.
The different shapes and colors of the pumpkins, reminds me of the unique characteristics of each family member that gathers round the table during the holidays.
